a part of every penny given to companies that support drm is used to lobby away fair use rights.
the big labels haven't produced anything good in years and are increasingly hostile to users.
our time would be better spent exploring and supporting local/independent artists and free/open source software.
free and open source focuses on meeting needs to benefit users, not maximizing profits at the expense of users.
